INTRODUCTION
IKGYna is an online database dedicated to national, regional, and historical anthems.
Established in the early 2010s, it has been maintained as a free platform for easy access to anthem-related resources. To start exploring, use the buttons on the left, which organize anthems by category. When sub-pages with flags appear, click on each flag to view more detailed information.
We strive to offer a user-friendly experience. If you have suggestions or feedback, we’d love to hear from you.
CONTENTS
IKGYna includes all national anthems—both historical and current—from around the world, from the Ottoman Empire to modern-day Mauritania. Anthems are categorized under present-day nations, with their historical anthems grouped accordingly.
You will also find anthems at regional, provincial, prefectural, state, municipal, and other subnational levels. (For example, explore Russia to see over a hundred sub-pages.)
Nations with limited international recognition—including those governed by separatist or puppet regimes (e.g., Lugansk, South Ossetia)—are included with detailed descriptions and historical anthems when available. Their inclusion is purely for archival purposes and does not imply any form of political recognition.
HOW TO USE
Each redirect page displays a vertical list of flags, organized under relevant headings. Bolded names represent official country names, along with the years of existence in parentheses. Click on any flag to access a page containing vocal & instrumental versions of the anthem, lyrics (with multiple language versions if available), and latin-script transcriptions for non-Latin original scripts (e.g., Thailand).
For extended research, visit our companion sites IKGYla and IKGYnu, which provide in-depth databases on languages and national music (including military & patriotic songs). Please note that both sites are currently being updated, so some content may be temporarily outdated.
WHY IKGYna
IKGYna stands out for its accuracy and reliability. Unlike other sources (such as Wikipedia or nationalanthems.info), our database avoids errors with repeated lines, missing stanzas, or incorrect language combinations.
We provide exactly the lyrics as they are performed—correct in order, timing, and language.

CLOSING
Thank you for supporting IKGYna. We hope you enjoy discovering these powerful, majestic, spirited, and sometimes surprising anthems—and that you come to appreciate the story behind your own national anthem.
Remember: there are communities around the world still seeking recognition—many with new anthems they hope to share with the world.
* The major upgrade of IKGYna, which began in March 2020, was completed in late 2021. Every page has been manually reviewed for accuracy, with updated visuals and a redesigned interface. All future updates will be listed in the top-left section of the homepage.
